Happy Birthday Brandon!!!!

Today is Brandon's 25th birthday. He was born on 6/15/1983 at 8:27am in Provo, Utah & weighed 8 lbs, 12 oz. This is Brandon's first photo. The photo had a crease in it, that is why the white line on his head.

This is Brandon at 25 years old. Can't believe he is that old. Seems like yesterday he was a tiny baby.

We had a little pool party yesterday with everyone to celebrate Brandon's birthday, Zak & Taylor's graduation & Father's Day. Eric's family was suppose to come back over today for dinner & cake, but they were so tired & sunburned from yesterday, they passed. So we just had a small get together with just our family. Mike's son Brandan & his wife Crystal came up from El Cajon with our grandson Gunner to celebrate my Brandon's birthday & Father's Day.

Happy Birthday Brandon. I am so proud to call you my son. I couldn't have asked for a better son than you. I love you with all my heart. (I know I am embarrassing him right now.)

Welcome

Hi! My name is Kim and I started this blog so that our extended family could reconnect with one another. We are all descendants of Merlin & Edith Manning (or married to someone who is). There are 3 branches to our Manning Family Tree. Branch 1 is Dorothy's family (I belong to this branch). Branch 2 is Joni's family. And Branch 3 is Marilyn's family. And of course each branch now has sub branches as the grand children (of which I am one) have their own families & now even the sub branches have sub branches as some of the great grandchildren have their own families as well.

It has been my hope that each member of my extended family would want to be a part of this blog and participate. It's been iffy at best. But some of them do participate with me & some have their own blogs. I've listed those under Family Blogs. At least we are getting to know each other again & I love it!!

The rules of our blog are that we can post as little or as much as we want. We can add photos, videos, funny jokes, emails that we receive & want to share, join in other bloggers memes (blog parties), etc. But most importantly to let us know what is going on in each others lives. Kind of like a journal that we are willing to let everyone read. There really are no rules. Just to be sure to log on every few days to see what is new. Or you can subscribe & you will be notified each time there is a new post.

Even if you are not family, you are more than welcome to enjoy our blog & leave comments. The more the merrier! We love making new friends and are not opposed to adoption.
